Adding Descriptions to Tags and Profiles: A Small Step for Clarity
Descriptions are now available for tags and profiles on bookmrks.io, a simple feature to add clarity and context to your bookmarks.
When building bookmrks.io, I wanted to keep things simple but useful. One thing I noticed missing was the ability to explain why a tag or a profile exists, sometimes a name alone isn’t enough.
So I added descriptions to tags and the profile page. Technically, it’s just a text field that you can edit, but it opens up new ways to give context to your bookmarks and collections.
This helps both you and anyone else who might stumble on your profile or tags understand what’s going on, without guessing or extra clicks.
It’s a small feature, but it fits into the bigger goal: making bookmrks.io flexible and user-friendly, without overcomplicating things.
