Claude Agent SDK Adapter for ACP Clients

Claude Agent ACP is an adapter for the Claude Agent SDK that allows users to utilize the SDK from any ACP-compatible client, including Zed.

This tool implements an ACP agent with the following capabilities:

• Context @-mentions - Enable contextual interactions within the application.
• Images - Support for image handling in agent communications.
• Tool calls - Execute commands with permission requests.
• Edit review - Facilitate review processes for edits.
• TODO lists - Manage tasks effectively.
• Interactive terminals - Support for both interactive and background terminal sessions.
• Custom Slash commands - Create tailored commands for specific needs.
• Client MCP servers - Integration with multiple client servers.

To install the adapter, users can run npm install -g @zed-industries/claude-agent-acp. Additionally, pre-built single-file binaries are available for Linux, macOS, and Windows, which do not require Node.js for execution.
